Instructions for making your site Webring compliant (Note: your site must receive a confirmation of acceptance first before these fragments are to be inserted) --------------------------------------------------------- All you need to do is to copy one of these two code fragments, paste it into the source of your page, grab the graphics needed and upload them to your server, alter the fragment as needed (put your id number where there is a YOUR_ID_HERE, and change the ownership link to your site) and you're on your way! For example, if your id is 21, you would put the number 21 anywhere where there is a YOUR_ID_HERE now. Like this: "...ring=lug;id=21;next..." and so on. Make sure that "This Linux Users' Group site is owned by ___" is changed to reflect your ownership. Light graphics can be found at http://www.nlug.org/webring/lite.html Dark graphics can be found at http://www.nlug.org/webring/ Feel free to alter the fragment as needed to suit your site. You may make custom graphics, use HTML/Javascript buttons, adjust/not use the table, format it differently, etc. Just make sure the functionability of the fragment is left in tact.
